It took the work of three dedicated teams to make it perfect, but this beautiful Stone Harbor, New Jersey home captures the essence of exactly what its owners were looking for: the perfect beach getaway. Our friends at ASPIRE Metro shared photos of the completed project, and now we're just waiting for our invitation for a weekend stay.
To create the ultimate seaside house, everything about the design takes its surroundings into consideration. The interiors by Rachel Kapner, of Creative Wallcoverings & Interiors, are made up of spaces with soothing colors inspired by the ocean and sky. Durable fabrics and materials that can hold up to sand and water were used throughout, perfect for a family with three teenage sons.

The builders Brandywine Developers and Asher Associates Architects, LLC thought of other details that make beach living luxurious, like a porch screen that lowers at the push of a button and docking stations for all of the family's gadgets. Our favorite part? The house is equipped with two outdoor decks with a spiraling staircase to the roof. We can't imagine why they'd ever want to leave.
And that's the point: “We try to make a house that is enduring and has its own sense of quality and place. These are almost heirloom houses. People don’t want to sell them. They want to keep them in the family for their children and grandchildren,” Asher, the architect told ASPIRE.
