We absolutely love hosting fabulous dinner parties, but having to spend all that time degreasing our dishes isn't exactly what we consider a good time. It can take a while to get your plates gleaming after a good meal. But luckily, our friends at Real Simple found a clever way to make this job easier.

Simply add a teaspoon of lemon juice to your dishwashing soap. This will help speed up the process of cleaning. TalkTalk also recommends sprinkling a little baking soda on a lemon slice and using it to scrub away messes on your plates.
