'Devious Maids': Marisol Gets Her Hands Briefly On Evidence That Could Exonerate Her Son (VIDEO)

'Devious Maids': Marisol Sees The Letter Flora Wrote Before Her Death

It's only the second week of "Devious Maids," and already Marisol's investigation into the murder of the Powell's maid, Flora, is bearing fruit. Marisol's son is being charges with her murder, but he insists he's innocent, and Marisol is determined to help him prove it.

She offered to pick up some extra work at the Powell house, and this week found the letter Flora appeared to be writing moments before she was brutally stabbed and killed. Unfortunately, Mr. Powell was in the room as well. After reading one line of the letter -- "I was raped." -- he snatched it out of Marisol's hand.

"Wait, what was that?" Marisol asked, but Mr. Powell wouldn't give her any answers.

“I’m sorry, Marisol. The time for questions is over," he insisted, but it's unlikely she'll stop seeking answers.

She told her son that she had "ways" of getting the letter back, which had TV Line worried. They hope she doesn't have to stoop to any new lows with the skeevy Mr. Powell. And then there's the fact that Mr. Powell threw the letter into the fire. The only words revealed as it burned were, "I trusted you. It’s your fault he hurt me."

The murder mystery continues every Sunday on Lifetime's "Devious Maids" at 10 p.m. ET.
