Venturini House In Buenos Aires, Argentina Was Beautifully Restored By Adamo-Faiden Architects (PHOTOS)

This house restoration is one for the books, folks!

It's a rare occasion when we come across beautifully restored homes that somehow manage to retain the structure's original integrity. The Venturini house is one such example. Situated in Buenos Aires, Argentina, the dwelling is in close proximity to the Abasto Shopping Mall (which once served as the city's largest fruit and vegetable market.)

According to Adamo-Faiden Architects, the townhouse previously functioned for a number of uses before the Venturini family appointed them to revive and convert it into a private residence. The firm describes their work as "an intervention" that can be "summarized in three actions: extraction, re-description and addition." In short, the team recovered the original spatial structure, reassigned each room with a different purpose and installed a mezzanine floor and a light structure on the roof.

As design enthusiasts, we're fascinated by the clever partitions that resulted from their additions. Needless to say, this house restoration and expansion is an instant-favorite.
