'Big Brother' Live Eviction: The First Houseguest Is Evicted (VIDEO)

Posted: Updated:

After a tumultuous week of ups and downs, it was time for the first houseguest to get the boot on "Big Brother." There were three nominees: Elissa, Jessie and David. While the consensus among the houseguests was that they wanted Elissa to go -- because she is the sister of former champ Rachel Reilly -- there was a secondary movement rumbling.

The Moving Company wanted to remove the physical threat that was David and orchestrated a shift in the house to get what they wanted. In the end, it was a close vote. David was evicted with seven votes to Elissa's five. Aaryn, who had started a hot-and-heavy showmance with David, was stunned. In fact, the houseguest reactions were apparently so filled with expletives, the footage from within the house featured nearly 100% censored audio.

“What do you think happened? You seemed to be getting along with everyone," Julie Chen asked David after his elimination.

“Um, I don’t know. I think because I’m a likable guy," David said. "I’m pretty smart?”

With one down, there are fifteen houseguests remaining in the house. Of that fifteen, several have become embroiled in controversy over their racist, homophobic and misogynistic comments. While this behavior has been seen by viewers of the Big Brother Live Feeds, none of it has made it onto the CBS broadcast.

Nevertheless, two of the cast members have been fired from their outside jobs based on their behavior. Of course, Aaryn Gries and GinaMarie Zimmerman won't find this out until their time in the house is done.

The drama continues in the "Big Brother" house Sunday and Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET and Thursday at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.
