Dannel Malloy Booed At Baseball Game (VIDEO)

WATCH: Dem Governor Booed At Baseball Game

Talk about a tough crowd.

Connecticut Gov. Dannel Malloy was booed while making a speech at Eastern League All Star Game on Wednesday night. The minor league competition, held in New Britain, Conn, pitted the Eastern League's top players against the best from out west.

"I want to welcome all of the All Stars from across the league, I happen to be partial towards the east but I want to welcome everybody," he said over boos, presumably from Western fans.

The speech took a more solemn note as he gave a special thanks to members of the Newtown community who were present at the game.

This isn't the first time Malloy has been booed at a sporting event. He was also booed at a rally for the University of Connecticut's basketball team in 2011.
