It's not surprising to find out that a husband and wife would have some disagreements about their living situation. But when Carla Soll wanted to convince her husband Dean to stay in their 6,900-square-foot home in California (he had plans for them to eventually move), she pulled on the big guns.
According to the Wall Street Journal, Soll allowed her husband to convert one of their rooms into an amazing home bar. Actually, the word "amazing," might be underselling it. At the end of the day, Soll, with help from architecture firm Form Environment Research Studio, was able to create a $350,000 bar with two draft beers on tap, 12 leather stools and a 22-foot-long marble counter.
To say this place an entertaining hotspot is an understatement. Click through our slideshow to see photos of the bar, and head over to the Wall Street Journal for more information.
