Jim Morrison's Childhood Home

Current owner David Tallman told The Washington Post that the 1947 Cape Cod-style house has undergone extensive renovation since the Morrisons lived there. And while neighbors knew of the home's rock star past, Tallman wasn't "aware of its musical significance until television news crews knocked on their door a few years ago, asking for details about Morrison’s former home."

The house comes with an eat-in chef's kitchen, "Thanksgiving-sized dining room" and a spa bathroom.

Jim Morrison's father was a naval officer; the family had moved from Florida to California to Virginia by the time Morrison was in high school.
