Cory Monteith's Autopsy To Be Performed Monday, But Answers Could Be Weeks Away

It Could Take Weeks Before We Have Answers

"Glee" star Cory Monteith was found dead in a Vancouver hotel room on Saturday, but it could be weeks before we have any answers about his untimely death.

Though there have been reports that the 31-year-old actor's autopsy and toxicology results have been expedited and will be released later this week, the British Columbia coroner's office told Us Weekly that "definitely" will not be the case.

"We might well have an update tomorrow, but final cause of death might be several days or even a couple of weeks after that," a rep for the coroner's office told the magazine.

A rep for the office had previously told BuzzFeed that it could take six to eight weeks for the toxicology results to come back.
