While yes, we all scream at one time or another for ice cream, apparently some of us do so at a much higher decibel than others. Depending on what part of the country you live in, ice cream is either a big deal or it's just Cold Stone Creamery.

If you aren't familiar with mom and pop creameries serving ice cream cones on hot summer nights, chances are you were born in the wrong state. And if you grew up in Florida (like this editor did) where TCBY was considered your best option when going out for ice cream, we feel your pain.

Real ice cream lovers who want to be surrounded by like-minded individuals may want to consider moving to California or Texas. According to the research put together by Bundle, Long Beach, CA, eats more ice cream than any other city in the U.S. -- Dallas, TX is a close second. And the New England area is full of states that are into serious ice cream eating. (Not a huge surprise considering they live so close to where the magic that is Ben & Jerry's happens.) See how your state ranks, and then go eat some ice cream.
