Tiger Woods Reprimanded By Marshal At Muirfield: Report

Report: Tiger Reprimanded By Marshal At Muirfield

Tiger Woods was reprimanded by a marshal Monday during a practice round at Muirfield.

Woods, who played the front nine on Sunday, planned to start off of No. 10 early Monday morning. But after hitting two drives, Woods was ordered off the tee box by a marshal, according to a report published Monday by The Sun newspaper of London.

A sign near the tee box stated that play on the back nine at Muirfield before 7 a.m. was prohibited in order for the grounds crew to work on the course.

So what did Woods do instead? He went back to the front nine and played until 7 a.m. passed. Then he went to No. 11 and finished his practice round from there.
