Kate Moss For Carphone Warehouse Goods Feature Personal Touches (PHOTOS)

PHOTOS: Kate Moss Tries Her Hand At Design... And We Like The Results

Remember that Kate Moss cell phone collaboration we told you about? Yah, it's really happening -- the supermodel even threw an exclusive shindig yesterday to prove it.

London trendsetters like Nick Grimshaw and Pixie Geldof turned up to the launch of Kate Moss for Carphone Warehouse, where partygoers admired Kate's range of tablet cases and phone covers designed in conjunction with the European retailer. Naturally, the collection features studs, leather and plenty of black.

"I was inspired by all the things I love," she told Vogue UK at the launch. "It was very much about the texture and the detail."

It certainly would appear that Kate took elements from her own closet when designing this (arguably random) collection. As a street style staple, decked-out leather, dark neutrals and subtle details are all her signatures when it comes to fashion. So that's how we're justifying the connection between the British model and cell phones. Plus, the collection's anchor logo is a dead ringer for the tattoo Kate has on her wrist. How much more personal can you get than that?

For those of you across the pond, you can pick up the Kate Moss collection in Carphone Warehouse stores on July 24. The rest of us can peruse the selection, which ranges in price from £14.99 to £49.99, online at carphonewarehouse.com. Until then, check out Kate modeling the goods at the launch party and the full collection in the slideshow below.
