Sean Hannity Endorses Liz Cheney For Senate

Sean Hannity endorsed Liz Cheney, his former colleague at Fox News, for Senate on Thursday.

Cheney, the oldest daughter of former vice-president Dick Cheney, announced her 2014 Senate bid on Tuesday. She is challenging Senator Mike Enzi in Wyoming.

Cheney was a political commentator for Fox News, but the two parted ways after she launched her Senate run. Fox News typically cuts ties with on-air talent when someone runs for political office, but Cheney still has her supporters at the network.

"I am really glad that Liz Cheney is running for senator in Wyoming and I'm endorsing her and supporting her," Hannity told his radio listeners. He slammed Enzi for collaborating with Obama and Senator Dick Durbin on legislation, and compared Cheney to Ted Cruz.

"I'm voting for Liz, or endorsing Liz, I can't cause I don't live in Wyoming," Hannity added. "If I could, I would because that's the right thing to do."
