The nonstop media coverage of the birth of the royal baby has given late night hosts plenty of fodder, but Jay Leno took it as an opportunity to take another swipe at NBC.
During his monologue on Monday, Leno remarked, "I was a little bummed out because I was the one that was supposed to deliver the baby announcement this afternoon at the hospital, and they replaced me at the last minute." He then rolled a clip of a man delivering the news who bore a striking resemblance to Leno's "Tonight Show" replacement, Jimmy Fallon.
