Viri Hernandez, Undocumented Student, Slams Rep. Steve King And Explains DREAM9 Border Protests (VIDEO)

'I Don't Need Citizenship, I Just Want My Family To Be Together'

A group of undocumented immigrants and DREAM Act supporters gathered at the Mexico-Arizona border on Monday to protest President Obama's record number of deportations. They were also there to stand by nine activists seeking asylum in the U.S. who call themselves the DREAM9.

Viri Hernandez, an organizer for the grassroots activist group Puente Arizona and an undocumented student herself, was among those at the border. On HuffPost Live Tuesday, Hernandez described the experience and explained her motivations. She said she and others like her just want the chance to see their families and bring them together in one place.
