Clinton Smith Named New Editor-In-Chief Of Veranda Magazine

Big Changes Coming To One Of Our Favorite Mags

It looks like big changes are coming to one of our favorite design magazines.

Clinton Smith, editorial director of Atlantic Homes and Lifestyles, has been named the new editor-in-chief of Veranda magazine. The news comes just two months after the current EIC, Dara Caponigro, announced she would be stepping down from the role.

“Clint has devoted his career to covering style, design and decoration, and there is no one better qualified to take the helm of VERANDA,” Newell Turner, editorial director of the Hearst Design Group said in a press release. “His strong relationships with designers and manufacturers are a tremendous asset, and his passion for great design will inspire readers of every issue.”

Smith is expected to take over the position in September. Congrats to the whole Veranda team!
