Sugar Bear Proposes To Mama June On 'Here Comes Honey Boo Boo' (VIDEO)

"Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" isn't exactly known for its sentimentality, but Sugar Bear created a truly romantic moment for Mama June during this week's episode. After years together, he finally asked her to marry him. And he got the whole family involved.

Sugar Bear and the girls did plenty of preparation before the big moment. He and Alana went and got the ring at a pawn shop, trading in a turkey fryer to reduce the cost. He put on what the family called his "funeral shirt," and even put down flower petals. Unfortunately, a chicken screwed those up.

Meanwhile, Mama June was getting spiffed up down at the salon. When the moment came, Sugar Bear admitted that he'd never been more nervous in his life. He surrounded June with candles of varying scents, which immediately got her suspicions up. Not of the proposal, though.

“Where’d you get all the candles from?” June asked him. "I hope you didn’t use ... my stockpile.”

But Sugar Bear would not be deterred. "The girls need a father figure that’s gonna be around for a while," he said. "“It would be a great, extreme honor -- um, will you marry me and be my wife?”

The show left it on a cliffhanger before Mama June could answer, but it wasn't much of a nail-biter. Fans already know that June said yes because pictures from their backyard, camouflage wedding leaked to the media. The couple got married back in May.

Still, fans can enjoy watching it all come together as "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" continues on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on TLC.
