It didn't take long for Bill Belichick to get asked about Tim Tebow and how the New England Patriots will use him.

On Friday morning, Belichick left open to interpretation what role Tebow might play, fueling speculation that the Patriots might use the former Heisman Trophy winner as something other than a backup quarterback.

"We'll use Tim wherever we feel it's best for the team. ... He's got a great work ethic. Great," Belichick said, per Albert Breer of NFL Network.

With the Patriots dealing with life after Aaron Hernandez and Rob Gronkowski's availability uncertain as he recovers from injury, there has been plenty of talk about Tebow being tried as an H-back or tight end. Sure, he has the size and the work ethic for it, but converting a guy to a different position at the NFL level is certainly a challenge.

No matter what position he plays, the distraction of Tebow should at least be a welcome diversion for the Patriots, who have been dealing with the fallout from the Hernandez matter.
