Justin Bieber Raps 'Lose Yourself' By Eminem In Detroit, Messes Up First Line (VIDEO)

Justin Bieber Channels Eminem, Fails

Justin Bieber might want to practice along with his copy of "8 Mile" before he schedules his next concert in Detroit.

The teen heartthrob performed Sunday night in Detroit, where he surprised fans with the first verse of Eminem's "Lose Yourself."

Detroiters take that song pretty seriously. It's not just the hit record from Eminem's movie about his hardscrabble roots growing up along Eight Mile Road, as anyone who has seen the Detroit Chrysler 300 commercial can attest.

Biebs flubbed the first line, however, rapping that his "palms are heavy," according to Complex. The correct line is "palms are sweaty."

The crowd at Joe Louis Arena on Sunday night didn't seem to notice. Maybe they just aren't Eminem fans? And hey, he also treated his Beliebers to a drum solo.

But Bieber could have had more trouble on his hands night than saying a few lyrics wrong. On Sunday, border authorities searched one of the singer's tour buses at the Ambassador Bridge crossing connecting Windsor, Ontario and Detroit. A police dog alerted authorities, who found a small amount of personal marijuana and drug paraphernalia, but Bieber wasn't on the bus. The bus driver was cited, but the bus was allowed to enter the U.S.
