Kansas City center fielder Lorenzo Cain robbed Minnesota' Trevor Plouffe of a home run on Thursday with an incredible leaping catch.
With two outs and a runner on first in the bottom of the fifth, Plouffe launched a hit to left center that seemed primed for the bullpen. Cain sprinted toward the wall, jumped and made a great grab to end the inning.
Royals ace James Shields gave Cain a hug when they got back to the dugout.
The Royals went on to record their ninth straight win.
