DeVonte Holloman Touchdown Interception Return Lifts Cowboys In Hall Of Fame Game (VIDEO/GIF)

WATCH: The First NFL Highlight Of The New Season!

Football is back!

The game may have opened with a fumble, the preseason score may have been meaningless and Tony Romo may have been a spectator but the Dallas Cowboys and Miami Dolphins played each other on Sunday in the annual Hall Of Fame Game.

In the second quarter, Cowboys linebacker DeVonte Holloman produced the first highlight of the 2013 NFL preseason. The rookie came up with an interception after a pass thrown by Dolphins quarterback Matt Moore was tipped. Holloman returned that errant toss 75 yards for a touchdown. That score staked the Boys to a 17-0 lead. They would hold on to win 24-20.

"Man, that was exciting," Holloman said after the game, via The Associated Press.

A sixth-round draft pick out of South Carolina, Holloman signed to a four-year contract with the Cowboys before the team's first rookie mini-camp practice, according to ESPN Dallas.
