Nina Dobrev Shows Lots Of Leg On Cosmopolitan Cover, Talks Julianne Hough Friendship

Nina Dobrev is Cosmopolitan's September cover girl and it's easy to see why.

Dressed in a houndstooth strapless dress and matching pumps, Dobrev shows lots of leg (and even a hint of cleavage) on the cover. The 24-year-old beauty also looks absolutely gorgeous in the editorial spread, where her legs are on full display in a high-low skirt and a pair of ankle boots.

The "Vampire Diaries" star opened up inside the issue about her friendship with Julianne Hough, calling the "Dancing With The Stars" champ an "active" buddy, different from all the "girlie girls" out there.

Hough and Dobrev have had similar life experiences, like young stardom and public breakups. Hough split from Ryan Seacrest in March after almost three years in the relationship, while Dobrev and co-star Ian Somerhalder broke things off in May after three years. But don't expect the two to be wallowing together.

"That's not what our friendship is about," Dobrev told the magazine. "Unfortunately, that's how it's perceived, but there's more to us. People aren't defined by their relationships. The whole point is being true to yourself and not losing yourself in relationships, whether romances or friendships."
