Alex Trebek's Former Home On Mulholland Drive Is For Sale For $3.9 Million (PHOTOS)

We'll Take Alex Trebek's Home For $3.9 Million, Please

Alex Trebek may be making headlines for causing a twelve-year-old contestant to cry, but we're focusing on something just as shameful from his past: his former Mulholland Drive bachelor pad. Although he sold the home in 1996 and it's had multiple owners since, from the looks of the interiors it seems as if it's stuck in another time. The 5,554-square-foot Hollywood Hills residence that the "Jeopardy" host built in 1984 is now back on the market for $3.995 million, according to Realtor.com. And it seems like a pretty cool place, that is if you can overlook the leather, chrome and animal prints.

Those "Beetlejuice" inspired chairs don't look like they could have been purchased during this decade. But, with the right eye, this three-story modern home could actually be updated. With four bedrooms, four and a half bathrooms, a chef's kitchen and soaring ceilings, the answer is: What is potential?
