Egyptian political commentator and Al-Monitor blogger Bassem Sabry joined HuffPost Live's Ahmed Shihab-Eldin Wednesday to discuss his recent post, "Why Egyptians Don't Like America."

Sabry said Egyptians disagree on the reasons why they dislike the Obama administration, but that anti-U.S. sentiment is widespread in the country. That sentiment applies to the United States government and not to American people, he said.

He laid out four reasons why Egyptians dislike the Obama administration's foreign policy:

1. Egyptian media spreading propaganda and conspiracy theories about the United States and its desire to divide Egypt
2. Unsuccessful U.S. foreign policy since the ouster of President Mubarak in 2011
3. U.S. foreign policy since the ouster of President Morsi had divided Egyptians
4. Egyptian nationalism and the United States' role in the Arab-Israeli conflict

Watch Sabry explain his reasons, as well as the four main political groups in Egypt (and their respective reasons for disliking the U.S.), in the video above.
