'The Counselor' Trailer: Pretty Bad (And Multiple It By 10) In The Best Way Possible

All-Star Cast Gets Sleazy In Awesome Look At 'The Counselor'

Ridley Scott's "The Counselor" may signal the birth of a hybrid genre: The Oscar contender that also doubles as the best late-night cable movie of all time. Written by Cormac McCarthy, "The Counselor" focuses on a lawyer (Michael Fassbender) who gets in over his head after a drug deal gone wrong. Javier Bardem, Brad Pitt and Cameron Diaz all co-star as ne'er-do-wells and scenery chewers. Penelope Cruz is on hand to lend an air of innocence. The new full-length trailer for "The Counselor" is bad in all the best ways. Chris Isaak should sing about this trailer.

"The Counselor" is out in theaters on Oct. 25.
