Written by Cormac McCarthy, "The Counselor" focuses on a lawyer (Michael Fassbender) who gets in over his head after a drug deal gone wrong. Javier Bardem, Brad Pitt and Cameron Diaz all co-star as ne'er-do-wells and scenery chewers. Penelope Cruz is on hand to lend an air of innocence. The new full-length trailer for "The Counselor" is bad in all the best ways. Chris Isaak should sing about this trailer.
