Overpricing Kim Kardashian's House And Other Celeb Real Estate Secrets From "Million Dollar Listing: Los Angeles" (VIDEO)

The stars of "Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles" sell real estate in the playground of Hollywood royalty, and sometimes they find themselves pushing a home that formerly belonged to an A-lister.

The cast of the Bravo hit chatted with HuffPost Live's Caitlyn Becker about whether clients are more likely to buy a home because a celebrity used to live there. For real estate agent Josh Altman, the home of a tabloid target can bring in big bucks.

"I sold Kim Kardashian's house, and I sold it for probably more than it was worth, maybe because it was her house," he said.

Altman's co-star Josh Flagg argued that he couldn't sell a home just because a celebrity lived there, but a "trophy property" could be made more appealing with a famous former tenant.

And some celebrities will only live in the most luxe digs. Agent Madison Hildebrand said many stars have impeccable taste in real estate and choose the best property available.

"Like Ellen DeGeneres, Jennifer Aniston. They're very real estate savvy," Flagg agreed. "Diane Keaton. These are all people who know what they're doing."

And often, these property-loving stars love the same property. According to the "Million Dollar Listing" experts, Ryan Seacrest bought a home from DeGeneres, who bought it from Joan Collins, who bought it from Broadway composer Jerry Herman. Another buyer who loves homes owned by fellow celebs is "Glee" creator Ryan Murphy, who's purchased pads previously occupied by Keaton and Charlize Theron.

And of course, some celebrities are real estate poison.

"I had Courtney Love coming to see a summer rental, and I did not want to tell the owners it was Courtney Love, for obvious reasons," Hildebrand said. "As soon as I did, they took the keys away. That was not an option."
