Students at the Georgia Institute of Technology have recreated the Mona Lisa, but you'll need a microscope to view it. The mini redo of Leonardo Da Vinci's 1517 painting is a third of the width of a human hair.

So why did G-Tech make Mona micro? It wasn't simply for kicks. The university says it was part of a longer-term goal of making other applications, including microscopic electronics.
