Best Tweets: What Women Said On Twitter This Week

At HuffPost Women, we're always excited about our co-workers' birthdays. In part it's because we're happy to celebrate each other, but it's also because we get delicious treats in the office. And the past two weeks have been terrific, as we've had two dessert-filled get-togethers. For Emma's birthday, we ordered cartons of frozen yogurt (with toppings!), and for Margaret's, we gladly cut into a gelato cake. It's summer, after all, so we're all about the frozen treats.

As it turns out, women on Twitter were also discussing ice cream this week. Lindsey Green felt there must be a misunderstanding: "I really struggle to understand ice cream in fruit flavors. If you want fruit, eat fruit. That's not what this is for." Meredith Blake was in a reflective mood: "It's been like 6 months and I'm still upset Liz Lemon got a Ben & Jerry's frozen yogurt flavor and not ice cream." And Aparna Nancherla simply reported her observation: "Saw a businesswoman trotting with an ice cream cone like the goddess of stock images."
