Lea Michele Makes First Public Appearance Since Cory Monteith's Death At The Teen Choice Awards

Lea Michele Makes Tearful Tribute To Cory Monteith

Lea Michele looked lovely as she made her first public appearance since the tragic death of her co-star and boyfriend, Cory Monteith, last month.

The "Glee" star, 26, attended the 2013 Teen Choice Awards at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City last night (Aug. 11) to personally accept her award for "Choice TV Actress: Comedy." Michele got emotional during her acceptance speech, dedicating the honor to Monteith, who she said was "very special to me."

"And we were very lucky to witness his incredible talent, his handsome smile and his beautiful, beautiful heart," she tearfully added.

But despite the heart-wrenching moment, Michele held herself with grace and allowed her fans to share in her sympathy. Not to mention she dazzled in a pink two-toned dress as her hair hung in loose waves around her face. She also wore her "Cory" nameplate necklace.
