Sad Actors Fund Video Details Plight Of Rich, Out-Of-Work Artists In LA

The Plight Of Trust Fund Actors In LA Must Not Be Ignored

"Actors" trying to "make it" in the "business" get a bad rap in Los Angeles (they're ruining the city for the rest of us, according to LA Weekly).

But at least they can make fun of themselves. In this video posted on FunnyorDie.com, a group of said actors banded together to lampoon themselves with a short film lamenting their first-world problems.

In the video, a parody of those Christian Children's Fund infomercials from the 90s, a woman pleads for money (just the price of a cup of coffee!) to help jobless actors pay for metered parking, head shots and improv classes.

"For the price of a cup of coffee, you can help an actor pay for one-fourth the price of her cup of coffee: a double mocha latte with soy, extra hot," says the Sally Struthers character. Please, call today.

The short video was written and directed by Don Colliver and stars Kristen Henley as Sally Struthers.
