Jennifer Garner Stuns On Allure Cover, Says She Never Wants To Just Become 'Wife Of' Ben Affleck

Jennifer Garner Never Wants To Be Considered WHAT?

Jennifer Garner wows in the September issue of Allure magazine, opening up about her marriage to Ben Affleck and how she keeps her fit figure alive.

The 41-year-old mom-of-three, who catapulted into stardom for playing Sydney Bristow on "Alias," admits she worries about losing her edge sometimes, especially when she's on the red carpet.

"Sometimes it's a pain because my heels are so high and it would be really nice to have his [Affleck's] arm. And he's such a great date! But it can be too much," Garner tells Allure. "I think especially for women, they can really lose their identity and just become 'wife of.'"

And although it's not bad being the wife of Ben Affleck, Garner made it big on her own and plans to keep her career going. Her first step: getting back into shape.

"There were times I had to watch every calorie that went into my body. Doing something like that again ... it's not exactly on the top of my list," Garner says of her diet routine, continuing, "I've been working out with Valerie Waters for 13 or 14 years. I'll do different things. I did Spin for a little while, and I like yoga. I've been doing Pilates with this woman who was trying to get my abs back in shape after the last baby kind of did me in."

Still, Garner is lucky to have a man that loves her no matter what. When asked during the Allure photoshoot when she feels sexiest, she joked, "With the lights being off," before adding, "I mean, it doesn't hurt to have great hair and makeup done, I'm not going to lie to you. But, it also doesn't hurt to have somebody who likes you when you don't have great hair and makeup done."
