'Real Housewives Of Miami' Premiere: Secret Marriage Tears Apart Former Best Friends (VIDEO)

The third season of "The Real Housewives of Miami" kicked off with one-time BFFs Adriana De Moura and Lea Black at odds over Adriana's marital situation.

It turns out that Adriana had married her fiance, Frederic Marq, five years ago. The couple had a legal marriage license, but had never gone through with a religious ceremony. But this was only part of the problem for Lea.

A little while ago, Lea had purchased about 10 paintings at full cost from Adriana, an art dealer, in order to help her out financially. "I was shocked beyond belief. I felt that she had betrayed me," Lea said. "I thought I was helping a single mother get back on her feet and all the while, she was legally married to Frederic."

For the record, according to Celebrity Net Worth, Frederic has a net worth of roughly $15 million. So it would be quite a stretch to say that his wife was needing help to get back on her feet. But Adriana countered by essentially saying that Lea is lying about what she did and didn't know.

According to Adriana, Lea knew about the marriage because they'd been planning a big ceremony back in 2008. At that ceremony, Lea was supposed to be the maid-of-honor. The wedding was called off just two weeks before the ceremony was scheduled to take place. That left viewers with a "she said/she said" conundrum. Who to believe?

The Stir's Julie Ryan Evans wasn't sure, but wrote, "My gut says Lea, because really, how weird is it to hide the fact that you're married just because you haven't had a ceremony? But who knows when it comes to these ladies.”
