Travis Johnson: Tony Romo Is 'A Thief', Hasn't 'Earned A Dollar He's Been Given In This League' (VIDEO)

Former NFL Lineman Rips Tony Romo

Former Houston Texans defensive lineman Travis Johnson doesn't think much of Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo.

During an appearance on CSN Houston, Johnson called Romo a "loser," a "thief" and went as far as to say that he is "killing the franchise right now."

"Tony Romo has not earned a dollar he's been given in this league," Johnson said. "Tony Romo is not that guy. He's a thief. You need to bring him up on federal charges right now."

Johnson also said that Romo played behind five Pro Bowlers on the offensive line at one point, a claim which Frank Schwab of Shutdown Corner pointed out was not true.

Back in March, Romo signed a six-year contract extension worth $108 million with Dallas. The new deal made the 33-year-old the highest-paid player in franchise history, per the Associated Press.

Shortly after the deal was reported, former NFL quarterback Donovan McNabb tweeted, "Wow, really, with one playoff win. You got to be kidding me."

Romo is 55-38 as a starting quarterback, but 1-3 in the postseason.
