WATCH: CNN Crew Ducks Gunshots In Egypt

A CNN crew was forced to duck for cover from gunfire during a report from Cairo, Egypt on Wednesday.

CNN correspondent Arwa Damon was reporting on the recent burst of violence in the country when a hail of gunshots sent her ducking to the ground for cover. "We're okay," she could be heard saying off-camera.

Deadly riots broke out in Egypt after police tried to clear two encampments for supporters of Egypt's ousted president.

The situation has grown especially dangerous for journalists over the past 24 hours, with at least two members of the press dead and dozens of others injured. Sky News reported that its cameraman Mick Deane was shot and killed on Wednesday, while XPress, a newspaper from the United Arab Emirates, said that journalist Habiba Ahmed Abd Elaziz, had also been shot dead.
