What is it about tying the knot that suddenly gives people license to ask you whatever they want -- no matter how prying or rude?

In a HuffPost Live segment Wednesday, host Caitlyn Becker spoke with The Stir writer Maressa Brown about her blog post, "16 Ridiculous, Annoying Things People Say When You Get Married." Some of the most common (and most irksome!) questions newlyweds face: "When are you having kids?"; "Are you still allowed to go out without him?" and "Is that true what they say about marriage killing your sex life?"

"It's so strange to me," Brown said. "Why do [people] think things are so different that they have to come up with new topics of conversation for you because now you're married?"
