Prince's 'Groovy Potential' Surfaces As The Purple One's Latest Track

New Prince Music Has 'Potential'

Prince is as groovy as ever with the release of his latest track, "Groovy Potential."

The 55-year-old singer released the new song on Tuesday evening, posting a 1:22 minute clip of "Groovy Potential" under his 3rd Eye Girl YouTube account. Prince has taken to releasing music under 3rd Eye Girl as of late, selling the singles as individual tracks on his website. The full version of "Groovy Potential" is available for purchase for 88 cents.

Prince's latest is indeed groovy. The mid-tempo song takes a funky melody and has Prince singing, "You better get up, get up, get up / So we can get down." Take a listen to "Groovy Potential" above.

Prince must have been really grooving on Tuesday night because he also took a chance to experiment with Twitter. He signed on to his 3rd Eye Girl Twitter account to send out his first tweets, even going so far as to post a photo of a plate of food. Check out Prince's tweets below.
