Fans of the OWN show "Welcome to Sweetie Pie's" have quickly found entertainment in Sweetie Pie's restaurant employee Charles Crenchaw, a.k.a. Lil' Charles. But at home, the 24-year-old has been a source of frustration for his family. There was Charles' cheating in a popularity contest at the family-run restaurant and also his ex-girlfriend's pregnancy scare, but in a new episode of "Sweetie Pie's," Charles may have just made his biggest mistake yet: showing up to his already-in-jeopardy job at the restaurant three hours late.
Though Sweetie Pie's is owned and managed by Charles' aunt, Miss Robbie, the young man knows not to expect her to cut him slack just because he's family.
"Today I got to work three hours late. I overslept. I really hope Aunt Robbie doesn't fire me," says Charles. Nervously, he heads into Miss Robbie's office.
"You look like sh*t," Miss Robbie says as soon as her nephew walks in. "Charles, what is wrong with you?"
"I'm sorry," Charles says. An enraged Miss Robbie tells him that sorry doesn't even begin to cut it and, after launching into a verbal fit of frustration, kicks Charles out of her office.
"I don't think I've ever seen Aunt Robbie that upset," Charles says, in a state of shock. "She doesn't even want to talk to me."
