Viewed as a Mexican fighting phenom, welterweight boxing champ Canelo Alvarez has successfully defended his title six times, all leading up to a main event in the ring with 8-time world boxing champ Floyd Mayweather.

With the main event titled The One: Mayweather VS Canelo, the fight will broadcast live in select movie theaters nationwide, which is something that Mayweather is excited about.

“The fact they can see my fight against Canelo in theaters is another opportunity for me to continue to be creative and give back to my fans," Mayweather said in a press release. "When I fight it’s a big event and I want people that can’t come see me fight to be able to see it on the big screen.”

The US and Mexico boxing champs will go head to head live on September 14th.
