A lesbian couple from Louisiana who got married at a resort in Bora Bora last month are now the faces of a stunningly beautiful marketing campaign for the company, celebrating both the ceremony and their relationship.
Jamie and Leryn Richaud, who wed in a private ceremony at the Four Seasons Resort, had their minds set on an intimate destination wedding. "All we wanted was to go and have the wedding of our dreams, said Jamie. "Our dream ceremony was so special for us, but it took on a whole new meaning when the Four Seasons asked us if we would be willing to share it with the world. We hope that witnessing two people vowing to love one another for the rest of our lives helps others realize that no matter who and no matter where -- love is love."
Four Seasons is reportedly utilizing the footage from the couple's wedding as an international marketing campaign to showcase their resort as a "destination dream wedding for same-sex couples."
"It was amazing and something you'd see on the movies," said Leryn
Last year another travel-related company, Expedia.com, also featured a lesbian wedding in an advertising campaign entitled, "Find Your Understanding." The brides shared their thoughts on the experience in a blog on HuffPost Gay Voices in April.
