Every season on "The Voice," the four celebrity coaches are joined by fellow artists and friends who act as advisors for their contestants during the show's competitive Battle Rounds.
HuffPost TV can exclusively reveal that the advisor woking with returning coach Christina Aguilera's team will be Ed Sheeran, the Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter who co-wrote Taylor Swift's "Everything Has Changed," duetted with Elton John and has penned tracks for One Direction. His debut album "+" has been certified quintuple platinum in the UK and gold in the US.
Sheeran will appear during the Battle Rounds for "The Voice" Season 5, which will air October 14 and 15 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
