Adam Lambert Sees Debut Of 'Lay Me Down' Collaboration With Avicii, Covers David Bowie

LISTEN: Adam Lambert Covers Bowie, Sees Debut Of New Dance Collaboration

Nile Rodgers, the legendary guitarist and producer who has worked with everyone from Madonna and Diana Ross to Daft Punk, threw his annual All For the East End (AFTEE) fundraiser on Long Island on Saturday with appearances by Adam Lambert and mega DJ Avicii.

Rodgers worked with Lambert on the singer's last studio album, "Trespassing," but on Saturday he debuted a new collaboration with the "American Idol" star and Avicii entitled "Lay Me Down," which will be featured on the DJ's upcoming debut album, "True."

The song, which "Rolling Stone" has called a "glitter-caked, Studio 54-ready jam," got the crowd dancing and listeners at home probably won't be able to resist either.

While Lambert didn't perform his new song with Avicii -- it was just the studio version that was played -- he did take the stage to sing the David Bowie classic "Let's Dance" with Rodgers (who produced the original) playing guitar. Check out a video of the performance below!
