Once A Cheater, Always A Cheater? Ann Landers Thought So

Ann Landers' Indispensable Advice On Cheaters

Once a cheater, always a cheater?

The late Ann Landers seemed to think so. The Chicago Sun-Times advice columnist, whose real name was Esther Eppie Lederer, once offered nothing but straight talk when a reader wrote in and explained that she was marrying the man with whom she had been having an extramarital affair.

"If you marry a man who cheats on his wife, you'll be married to a man who cheats on his wife," Landers reportedly told the woman.

Struck by Landers' take on infidelity, we decided to share the quote with our readers on Facebook and ask them if they agreed or disagreed with the writer's sentiment.

Click through the slideshow below to see what they had to say, then tell us if you think cheaters are capable of change in the comments.
