Viewers are used to seeing Miss Robbie Montgomery, the matriarch of the family-run St. Louis eatery Sweetie Pie's, as a strong, independent business woman. A grandmother in her 70s, the self-proclaimed "soul sister" lives a full and busy life. Miss Robbie says she doesn't need a man, but after some convincing from her sisters, she decided to try dating again.
In this clip from an upcoming episode of "Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s"on OWN, Jenae (Robbie’s son’s on-again, off-again fiancée) takes Miss Robbie shopping to get a sexy new outfit in preparation for her date.
"We need to get an outfit," Jenae tells to the boutique owner. "Maybe to sex it up a little bit."
"Not too sexy," Miss Robbie insists.
Jenae picks out a few outfits for Miss Robbie to try on, focusing on a top with a low-cut neckline.
"Jenae wants me to show some cleavage on my first date," Miss Robbie says. "Jenae, this is not my first rodeo." With a swooping motion towards the camera, she proclaims, "I know how to lean!"
