Greg Chalmers couldn't even give K.J. Choi 15 minutes to enjoy the cheers around the 14th green.

Moments after Choi one-hopped his tee shot at the picturesque par-3 14th into the heart of the cup for a hole-in-one in the third round of the Barclays, Chalmers did the same, spinning back a pitching wedge from just beyond the hole for his second hole-in-one of the season. Yes, in back-to-back groups.

The 14th hole is lined by the New York City skyline, as well as the Hudson River. Our Bradley S. Klein describes Liberty National's marquee hole:

"Over a little bridge, past the wildlife trail, suddenly you're transported to a waterfront hole that is among half a dozen of the most exhilarating par-3s in the entire Met area – Long Island included. The shortest hole to the smallest green, with tall, wispy fescue waving everywhere, finds the wind howling in from the right. If you take a moment to pause and look at the Statute of Liberty only 1,000 yards away, you'll know you're at a very special place. You can bet the cameras will register that iconic image from this tee all week long. The sad thing about playing this hole is that there aren't a few more like it on the rest of the course. But enjoy it while you can, visually at home and carefully from the tee. The GIR numbers here will be surprisingly slim and my bet is that there will be twice as many bogeys as birdies."

Well, two aces will help the scoring average.

Chalmers is no stranger to recording a "1" in 2013, as the left-hander is the only player on Tour with two aces this season. The first came at the 16th hole in the final round of the Valero Texas Open.

Choi and Chalmers made the cut on the number at even par, with Chalmers using the ace to move to 3 under, while Choi is still at even.

Choi is enjoying a solid season, earning just under $1 million through 22 tournaments, including 18 cuts made. Chalmers has been up and down this season, making 14 cuts and missing nine. Both players have only two top-10 finishes in 2013.
