Bear Grylls, 'Man vs. Wild' Host, Installed A Giant Slide On His Private Island And Is Now In Hot Water (PHOTOS)

PHOTOS: TV Host Angers Authorities With Unbelievable Waterslide

Bear Grylls, host of the popular show "Man vs. Wild," is an adventure man, there's no doubt about that. So, when he posted a photo on his Twitter of a giant slide installed on his St. Tudwal West private island in North Wales, we weren't completely surprised.

Sure, it looks terrifying and even Grylls tweeted about how fast one can go down it, but still, he's Bear Grylls. Unfortunately, not everyone is on board with his extreme feature. According to the Daily Mail, the local council are concerned about the safety of his slide. “I am very concerned that an accident could happen on this slide,” Wyn Williams, who represents Abersoch on Gwynedd Council said. “I have been told that the slide can only be used a couple of hours a day due to the tide and that it will only be in place when Mr. Grylls is on the island.”

We're not sure what's going to happen to the slide, but either way, Grylls still has himself a pretty sweet home. Taking a look at these photos by photojournalist Christopher Jones, the island is absolutely stunning and even has its own lighthouse. Scroll through to see the property and be sure to head over to the Daily Mail for more information. Also, check out the video above.
