The 2013 Miss America pageant takes place on September 15 in Atlantic City, New Jersey, but the real show takes place a week later when drag queens take the stage to compete in the Miss'd America pageant, the annual beauty competition for queens who may have missed the festivities the week before.

In a new series for the gay YouTube channel Gwist,Internet star Randy Rainbow takes to the boardwalk of Atlantic City to go "Behind the Tiara" with this year's Miss'd America contestants. In the first episode he interviews Honey Davenport on why she should take home the crown.

Evaluated in categories such as evening wear, talent and swimsuit, the seven drag queens will compete in front of judges and host Michelle Visage of "RuPaul's Drag Race" fame. Last year's winner, Sabel Scities, will also be on hand to crown the 2013 winner.

Since its inception in 1993, the Miss'd America pageant has raised over $200,000 for various charities and this year Gwist is giving viewers behind the scenes glimpses into one of the country's most popular drag competitions.
