'The Young And The Restless' Jeanne Cooper Tribute: Katherine Chancellor Memorial Sneak Peek (EXCLUSIVE)

'The Young And The Restless' Says Goodbye

"The Young and the Restless" is paying tribute to their late star Jeanne Cooper, who died May 8 at the age of 84, with two Katherine Chancellor memorial episodes airing next week (Tues., Sept. 3 and Wed., Sept. 4), and we've got a very touching exclusive sneak peek.

Watch the scene, above, to see Cooper's son Corbin Bernsen reprising his role as Father Todd Williams, who's in town for Chancellor's funeral, or "Mrs. C's shindig" as they're calling it.

"I'll be officiating," Father Todd says. "I was told that she requested me specifically, so I put down everything immediately and came running. One does not want to disappoint Katherine Chancellor."

The clip also features Father Todd's brother Paul (Daytime Emmy winner Doug Davidson) and Kevin (Greg Rikaart), who's now on the right side of the law thanks to Mrs. C's support. He has a very emotional flashback, and Father Todd assures him that Katherine is "very, very proud" of him, from afar.

For "Young and the Restless" fans this will certainly be a tearful goodbye, but after 39 years on the show, Cooper deserves a celebratory send-off.

Tell us: Who else do you want to see in the memorial episodes?
