Harmful Ingredient Found In Anti-Bacterial Soaps, From Alexandra Zissu (VIDEO)

Posted: Updated:

This week on Mondays With Marlo, Green Living Expert & Author Alexandra Zissu shared a surprising fact -- antibacterial products can actually be dangerous! Alexandra explained that most antibacterial products contain an ingredient called triclosan, which is a pesticide. She told me that the American Medical Association said that this chemical is creating superbugs, so she would not recommend using it. A good hand-washing will kill the same amount of germs, and on the go, you can disinfect your hands with products made from thyme oil.
