WATCH: Kerry Sympathizes With Anti-War Protester

Secretary of State John Kerry sympathized with an anti-war protester who interrupted the Senate Foreign Relations Committee's hearing on Syria Tuesday.

"The first time I protested before this committee, when I was 27 years old, I had very similar feelings to that protestor," Kerry said.

The protester, from the group Code Pink, shouted, "The American people do not want this!"

"I think we can all respect those who have a different point of view," Kerry continued.
