'Who Do You Think You Are?': Trisha Yearwood Finds Out Her Ancestors Were Thieves (VIDEO)

Country Music Star's Family Of Thieves

"Who Do You Think You Are?" doesn't always uncover amazing histories and family trees filled with royalty -- in country music star Trisha Yearwood's case (Tues., Sept. 3 at 9 p.m. ET on TLC), it's quite the opposite.

We've got an exclusive sneak peek at Yearwood's ancestral epiphanies, above, where she finds out that her relatives stole, wounded and killed "several fat bucks" from English royal hunting grounds in the 1700s.

"Awesome. OK, so the three brothers are thieves ... I think we can pretty much rule out that I'm going to find out that I'm royalty," Yearwood says with a laugh. And the man tracking her genealogy agrees: "I think you're right."

Tell us: Do you prefer the episodes where people find out they have "normal" family trees, or are the royal revelations more exciting?

Here's TLC's official description of the episode:
Since her parents passed, country singer Trisha Yearwood knows little about her paternal side of the family. Her search for a deeper family connection takes Trisha to England, where she uncovers an ancestor’s history of crime, loss and perseverance.

"Who Do You Think You Are?" airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on TLC.
